Setting up an Email Account¶
IMAP Setup on the google pixel 6 pro¶
- Open the Gmail app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right > Add another account.
- Select "Other".
- Enter your email address and tap "Next".
- Choose "Personal (IMAP/POP)" and tap "Next".
- Enter your password and tap "Next".
- Select "IMAP" and use the following server settings:
- Incoming server (IMAP): imap.fused.com
- Port: 993
- Security type: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP): smtp.fused.com
- Port: 587
- Security type: STARTTLS
- Tap "Next" to complete the setup.
POP3 Setup on the google pixel 6 pro¶
- Open the Gmail app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right > Add another account.
- Select "Other".
- Enter your email address and tap "Next".
- Choose "Personal (IMAP/POP)" and tap "Next".
- Enter your password and tap "Next".
- Select "POP3" and use the following server settings:
- Incoming server (POP3): pop3.fused.com
- Port: 995
- Security type: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP): smtp.fused.com
- Port: 587
- Security type: STARTTLS
- Tap "Next" to complete the setup.
Accessing Your Email Account on the google pixel 6 pro¶
- Open the Gmail app on your Pixel 6 Pro.
- If you have multiple accounts, you can switch between them by tapping your profile picture and selecting the account.
- Your inbox will be displayed, showing your emails.
- Tap on an email to read it.
- To compose a new email, tap the compose button (pencil icon) in the bottom right corner.
Note: These instructions are based on Android 13. If you're using a different Android version, the steps might vary slightly.
Deleting an Email Account on the google pixel 6 pro¶
- Open the Settings app on your Pixel 6 Pro.
- Go to Accounts > Personal (IMAP) or the account you want to remove.
- Tap "Remove account".
- Confirm by tapping "Remove account" again.
