Events Manager consent queries permit Subscriber SQL injection
Events Manager before 7.4.1 embeds an attacker-controlled EM_Person user_email directly into the EM_Comms_Consent query that finds guest booking IDs, and concatenates consent or revocation values into related DELETE and INSERT work. A Subscriber can inject SQL and tamper with other people's booking-consent records. Version 7.4.1 uses prepared queries and integer-casts booking IDs.

Update, patch or deactivate.
Update to 7.4.1 or later. Review consent changes and Subscriber activity, correct altered booking-consent records, and inspect database logs for injection probes.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
Technical description
The Events Manager WordPress plugin before 7.4.1 does not sanitise and escape a user-controlled value before using it in a SQL statement, allowing users with a subscriber account and above to perform SQL injection attacks and tamper with booking consent records belonging to other people.
