This CVE was published Sep 24, 2026 and is one of 46 known issues for this plugin.
Update, patch or deactivate.
Update to 7.4.5 or a later supported release. Bind authorization to the final target ticket and event, make identity fields immutable during update, and review unexpected ticket reassignment.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
Technical description
The Events Manager WordPress plugin before 7.4.5 does not stop a ticket-update request from replacing the identifiers of the ticket it was authorized against, letting a user who can manage one event's tickets overwrite and reassign any ticket on the site to their own event.
