HIGH CVE-2026-109207 Deferred

RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator: Cross-site scripting

The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'media:thumbnail@url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.11 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the attacker to control an external RSS feed that the target site has already configured for import; no WordPress account or special plugin configuration is needed beyond that condition. The export supplies no additional endpoint, action, parameter or function details beyond those described above.

Update, patch or deactivate.

This archive could not confirm a fixed version from the official author notes reviewed through 5.2.12. The note fixes scripts in stored import errors on the Imports list, but does not connect that correction to the disclosed media:thumbnail URL input and rendering path. Consult the author for current remediation guidance; restrict or disable affected functionality when warranted. Official notes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/feedzy-rss-feeds/#developers.

No confirmed safe version is listed. Consider a vendor-supported patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality while you assess the risk.

Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
