CRITICAL CVE-2026-103692 Deferred

Frontend Dashboard: Unauthenticated callable dispatch and administrator takeover

An unauthenticated caller can select a PHP function or class method and pass request data to it through exposed actions that lack authorization and nonce checks. The export establishes takeover of arbitrary accounts, including administrators, through this attacker-controlled dispatch. It does not name the action identifiers, callable selector, invoked function or account-changing parameters. Affected versions: 3.0.0 to < 3.0.5. The authoritative export identifies 3.0.5 as fixed for this CVE.

Weakness
CWE-269 — Improper Privilege Management

This CVE was published Oct 08, 2026 and is one of 10 known issues for this plugin.

Update, patch or deactivate.

Update to 3.0.5 or a later supported release. Application-level remediation: Remove request-controlled PHP callable dispatch. Use a fixed allowlist of intended operations, validate each operation's arguments and require its appropriate capability before invocation. Add nonce validation where session-based actions require CSRF protection, and audit privileged account changes.

A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.

Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.

Technical description

The Frontend Dashboard WordPress plugin before 3.0.5 does not perform any authorisation or nonce check on actions available to unauthenticated users that call an attacker-chosen PHP function or class method with the request data, allowing unauthenticated users to take over any account, including administrators.
