Hide My WP Ghost: Invalid loopback checks disable login-location protection
The Hide My WP Ghost WordPress plugin before 7.0.11 does not properly validate a loopback security-check request before disabling its login and URL hiding protection, dropping that protection precisely when the request's verification value is missing or incorrect, which any visitor can arrange, allowing unauthenticated attackers to re-expose the concealed WordPress login page location. This exposes a concealed login location; it does not establish login bypass or account takeover. The verification field and route are not disclosed. Affected versions reported by the CNA: < 7.0.11. The export identifies 7.0.11 as fixed.

Update, patch or deactivate.
The authoritative export identifies 7.0.11 as fixed. Update to that release or a later supported version. Require authenticated, server-generated validation for security-check requests and fail closed on a missing or invalid value. Review the plugin's protection settings after updating.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
