HT Contact Form endpoint exposes saved draft submissions
HT Contact Form before 2.9.3 exposes its Save & Resume draft endpoint without an authorization check. An unauthenticated visitor can retrieve personal data stored in drafts, including names, email addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses. Version 2.9.3 binds each draft to its owner with a per-draft access token.

This CVE was published Aug 10, 2026 and is one of 10 known issues for this plugin.
Update, patch or deactivate.
Update to 2.9.3 or later. Review access logs for unauthenticated draft requests, determine which draft submissions were exposed, remove unnecessary retained drafts, and notify affected individuals when disclosure is confirmed.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
