JS Help Desk lets visitors attach files to other users' tickets
JS Help Desk before 3.1.4 exposes a front-end request dispatcher without authentication, a nonce check or ticket-ownership validation. An unauthenticated visitor can submit a file accepted by the plugin and select another user's support ticket as its destination, causing the file to be stored and attached to that ticket. The plugin limits uploads to its inert allowed extensions, so the published record does not establish executable-file upload, but the operation can tamper with support records and place attacker content in a trusted workflow.

Update, patch or deactivate.
Update JS Help Desk to 3.1.4 or later. Review recent ticket attachments for files added without a corresponding authenticated user or support interaction, remove confirmed unwanted files, and notify affected support users if ticket integrity was compromised.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
Technical description
The JS Help Desk WordPress plugin before 3.1.4 does not perform any authorization, nonce, or ownership check on a front-end request dispatcher, allowing unauthenticated users to upload files (limited to the JS Help Desk WordPress plugin before 3.1.4's inert allowed extensions) and attach them to arbitrary users' support tickets.
