Kubio AI Page Builder: Stored XSS through unsafe link schemes
The Kubio AI Page Builder WordPress plugin before 2.9.3 does not validate the URI scheme of a user-supplied value before outputting it as a link target, allowing users with the contributor role and above to store a payload which executes in the browser of anyone who follows the link, including an administrator previewing the unpublished submission. The authoritative export identifies the fixed release as 2.9.3.

This CVE was published Oct 03, 2026 and is one of 11 known issues for this plugin.
Update, patch or deactivate.
Update Kubio AI Page Builder to 2.9.3 or a later supported release. An application-level fix should allowlist safe URI schemes before storing or rendering link targets and apply URL-context escaping; administrator preview must not bypass these checks.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
