Masteriyo instructors can download private posts they do not own
Masteriyo LMS from 1.14.0 through versions before 3.4.1 fails to verify ownership or restrict record type in a download flow. An instructor can request arbitrary posts and retrieve their full content and metadata, including another instructor's private or draft courses. The authoritative export does not identify the endpoint, record parameter, download format, or other exposed post types.

Update Masteriyo LMS to 3.4.1 or later. The authoritative affected range ends before 3.4.1. The application-level fix must constrain downloads to expected course records and authorize the current instructor against each requested object before returning content or metadata.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.

Technical description
The Masteriyo LMS WordPress plugin before 3.4.1 does not verify ownership of, or restrict the type of, the records a user requests for download, allowing users with the instructor role to retrieve the full content and metadata of arbitrary posts, including other instructors' private and draft courses.
