miniorange-social-login-and-register-discord-google-twitter-linkedinCVE-2026-14300: miniOrange Social Login email verification permits unauthenticated account takeover
miniOrange Social Login and Register before 7.8.0 is vulnerable to authentication bypass when social login is configured and its optional Profile Completion email-verification feature is enabled. An unauthenticated attacker can request a valid one-time code for an email address they control, then replay that code against a victim's email address because the plugin does not bind the code to the account for which it was issued. The plugin then creates a valid session for the victim account, allowing takeover of any account, including an Administrator. WPScan has withheld the proof of concept until August 8, 2026. Version 7.8.0 fixes the issue.
