Motors exposes unpublished vehicle listings through an author ID
Motors before 1.4.121, an unauthenticated requester can supply a numeric user ID and receive that author's draft, pending and private car listings without authorization. Returned fields include titles, prices, media URLs and seller notes. The export does not name the request route, user-ID parameter or listing-query function. This record concerns the Motors WordPress plugin, not the similarly named theme.

This CVE was published Sep 17, 2026 and is one of 26 known issues for this plugin.
Update, patch or deactivate.
Update Motors to 1.4.121 or later. Restrict public listing queries to published records and require appropriate ownership or management permission before returning non-public listings. A supplied author ID must not grant access to that author's private content.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
Technical description
The Motors WordPress plugin before 1.4.121 does not verify that a request is authorized to view a user's non-published listings before returning them, allowing unauthenticated attackers to read any author's draft, pending and private car listings - including titles, prices, media URLs and seller notes - by supplying only the target's numeric user id.
