Motors: Stored XSS in listing badges
The Motors WordPress plugin before 1.4.124 does not sanitise and escape a listing badge setting before outputting it inside an HTML attribute, allowing users with a custom, administrator-assigned listing-management role to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a listing is viewed by any visitor, including an administrator. No further endpoint or implementation detail is disclosed beyond the path described here. The authoritative export identifies the fixed release as 1.4.124.

Update, patch or deactivate.
Update Motors to 1.4.124 or a later supported release. Restrict the custom listing-management role until updated, and escape the badge setting for its final HTML attribute context.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
