Pixel Tag Manager for WooCommerce: Contributor modification of tracking scripts
The Pixel Tag Manager for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 2.2.3 does not perform a capability check in one of its AJAX actions, and exposes the nonce protecting it to any user able to access the admin dashboard, allowing users with a role as low as Contributor to overwrite the Pixel Tag Manager for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 2.2.3's tracking configuration and have arbitrary JavaScript executed in the browsers of all visitors, including administrators. Other endpoint, parameter, role or implementation details not named in this export are not established by this record. Affected versions: before 2.2.3. The source narrative identifies Contributor-level access, while the newly supplied CVSS vector specifies high privileges (PR:H); this discrepancy is unresolved, so the disclosed Contributor role is retained.

Update, patch or deactivate.
The authoritative export identifies 2.2.3 as fixed. Update to the applicable fixed release or a later supported release. Validate untrusted input and apply context-appropriate output escaping at the affected rendering point; enforce permissions independently of nonces.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
