Eventin speaker template setting permits local PHP inclusion
Eventin before 4.1.20 does not adequately validate the local path stored in its speaker_template setting. An Editor or higher role can point the setting to an arbitrary local PHP file, causing the application to include and execute that file when the speaker template is rendered.

4.1.20- Published

This CVE was published Aug 10, 2026 and is one of 45 known issues for this plugin.
Update, patch or deactivate.
Update to 4.1.20 or later. Review Editor-level changes to speaker_template and local PHP files, restore the setting to a trusted template, and investigate the host for unauthorized code execution and persistence.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
