Eventin waiting-list route permits unauthenticated account creation
Eventin before 4.1.20 exposes POST /eventin/v1/orders/waiting-list with a permission callback that returns true. add_to_waiting_list() prepares the request, creates a waiting OrderModel and attendees, then create_customer() accepts an arbitrary customer_email and first and last name. It either finds an existing account and assigns etn-customer or creates a WordPress user and associates it with the injected order. Version 4.1.20 requires a wp_rest X-WP-Nonce and respects users_can_register for guest creation. The exact full request schema, resulting role capabilities and practical strength of the front-end nonce requirement are not disclosed.

Update, patch or deactivate.
Update to 4.1.20 or later. Review newly created users, role changes, waiting-list orders and public REST requests; remove unauthorized accounts and orders and invalidate affected sessions.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
