HIGH CVE-2026-110523 Deferred

WP User Manager: Privileged registration after gateway disconnection

The WP User Manager WordPress plugin before 2.9.26 does not keep its paid-registration capability restrictions in force once the payment gateway is disconnected, while a published paid registration form continues to assign its configured role, allowing unauthenticated users to register and immediately obtain a privileged administrator-equivalent role without completing the payment meant to gate it. Other endpoint, parameter, role or implementation details not named in this export are not established by this record. Affected versions: 2.9.21 to before 2.9.26.

Update, patch or deactivate.

The authoritative export identifies 2.9.26 as fixed. Update to the applicable fixed release or a later supported release. Retain payment and capability restrictions when a gateway is disconnected; prevent unpaid registration forms from assigning privileged roles.

A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.

Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
