Photolia: Code execution
An unauthenticated caller can reach deserialization of attacker-controlled data, allowing it to be interpreted as PHP objects. The export does not disclose the endpoint, parameter, deserialization function or a usable gadget chain. File access or code execution depends on reachable application classes and behavior; a complete code-execution chain is not established. Affected versions: <= 1.0.3.

Update, patch or deactivate.
The official author release notes confirm remediation by 1.0.13; this does not establish that every intervening release was affected. Update the affected edition to 1.0.13 or a later maintained release on its supported branch. Disable the affected feature or deactivate the component until the update is installed. Application-level remediation: Replace untrusted serialized objects with a data-only format. If deserialization is unavoidable, disable object instantiation and validate the resulting data structure before use. Official author release notes: https://themeforest.net/item/photolia-photo-company-photo-supply-store-wordpress-theme/23188380.
A safe version is available, so updating to that version or later is the preferred remediation. If an immediate update is not practical, consider a targeted application patch or temporarily restricting the affected functionality.
Deactivate only when warranted by your risk profile, or when advised by your hosting provider in the limited circumstances where the vulnerability cannot otherwise be mitigated. If you’re unsure which action is appropriate, contact Fused or your hosting provider for guidance.
