Common Record Types

Record type Used for
A Pointing a hostname to an IPv4 address.
AAAA Pointing a hostname to an IPv6 address.
CNAME Pointing one hostname to another hostname.
MX Choosing where domain email is delivered.
TXT SPF, DKIM, DMARC, verification, and other policy values.

MX changes affect mail delivery

MX records decide where mail for a domain is delivered. If you are moving mail to or from Fused, contact support before changing them so we can verify the plan.
