FTP: Settings and Connections¶
Use this page to manage ftp: settings and connections for a Fused hosting account. Keep the cPanel login and the site path handy before changing FTP access.
General FTP settings¶
You can connect via FTP to your web hosting account with as little as three pieces of info:
- Server name — often your domain name will suffice.
- User name — your cPanel username can double as an FTPS\SFTP username
- Password — your cPanel password

Limitations¶
- IP addresses are limited to 8 open FTP connections at a time. It is not uncommon for an FTP application to open at least 4 or more connections.
