cPanel Two-factor authentication (2FA)¶

Use this page to add two-factor authentication to cPanel when available. This adds a second login check for hosting account access.

Enabling two-factor authentication within cPanel¶

1. Login to cPanel
2. Navigate to two-factor authentication
3. Select 'Set-up two factor authentication'
4. Use your favorite authenticator app. to scan the QR code. We prefer 1Password or google authenticator.
5. Enter the code it generates
6. Success!

Deactivating or reconfiguring your two-factor authentication within cPanel¶

Changing devices¶

1. Login to cPanel
2. Navigate to two-factor authentication
3. Select 'Reconfigure device' & follow the steps.

Lost my device¶

Contact Fused. We can deactivate 2FA after a short interview / audit, please understand our need to be thorough so be patient.
