Transferring your domain name from godaddy to fused¶

Use this page to prepare a domain transfer. Confirm the domain is unlocked, contact details are current, and the authorization code is available before starting.

Unlocking your domain name at GoDaddy¶

Unlocking a domain name at GoDaddy prepares it for transfer, which'll allow you to retrieve the authorization code from GoDaddy & move the domain name.

1. Login to your GoDaddy account at GoDaddy.com
2. Navigate to Manage Domains
3. Select the …next to your specific domain name, and select Domain Settings
4. Within the Additional Settings section, select Edit next to Domain lock.
5. Change the slider from on to off.

Getting your EPP code from GoDaddy¶

Next, you'll need to retrieve your authorization code from GoDaddy:

1. If you haven't already, login to your GoDaddy account at GoDaddy.com
2. Navigate to Manage Domains
3. Select the …next to your specific domain name, and select Domain Settings
4. Then, select Get Authorization Code.

Getting started with transferring your domain name to Fused¶

Once you've completed those three steps above, and you've got your EPP code in hand, you can get underway. To commence, you'll navigate to our domain transfer system and be sure to use the coupon code godaddy for 50% off hosting.
