Unlocking your domain name with GoDaddy

Use this guide to unlock a domain registered at GoDaddy. Lock the domain again after transfer work is complete or no longer needed.

Unlocking a domain name with GoDaddy

  1. Login to your GoDaddy account
  2. Navigate to Manage Domains
  3. Select the …next to your specific domain name, and select Domain Settings
  4. Within the Additional Settings section, select Edit next to Domain lock.
  5. Change the slider from on to off.

Your changes are now pending, and, you can now retrieve your EPP code from GoDaddy, & transfer your domain name to Fused.
