Retrieving your domain authorization code from Homestead¶
Use this guide to retrieve a domain authorization code from Homestead. The domain may also need to be unlocked before a transfer can begin.
Homestead EPP code Exemptions¶
Some domain TLDs do not require authorization codes. These include first and foremost, .uk, .bz, .cc, .gd, .im, .tc, .tel, .tv, .vg, and .ws — you can review the epp code exemptions here if needed.
Unlock your domain
Before you can transfer a domain, you'll need to unlock it.
Getting your auth key from Homestead¶
- Log in to the Homestead control panel
- Select Domains on the left
- Select the domain name from the list.
- Select Email your authorization code
