Changing your nameservers at Fatcow

Use this guide to point a domain registered at FatCow to Fused nameservers. Confirm website and email DNS plans before replacing the current nameservers.

These instructions might change at any time due to changes in the Fatcow interface

If you're moving a domain to fused, you'll need to find your fused nameservers before getting underway.

Warning!

Please note that changing your nameservers results in your hosting & email moving. Make certain your website & email have been migrated successfully.

Updating your nameservers at Fatcow

  1. Login to fatcow's control panel
  2. Select the domain from the list for which you wish to verify the nameservers. Click on the domain name link. The domain Details page is displayed.
  3. Scroll down the Details page, to the Technical Information section and click Edit. The Nameserver Change page is displayed.
  4. Set the nameservers as needed.

Please allow up to 24 hours for DNS changes to take effect. If you have any domain name or nameserver questions, reach out to our support.
