Retrieving your domain's authorization code from Register.com¶
Use this guide to retrieve a domain authorization code from Register.com. The domain may also need to be unlocked before a transfer can begin.
Register.com EPP code Exemptions¶
Some domain TLDs do not require authorization codes. These include first and foremost, .uk, .bz, .cc, .gd, .im, .tc, .tel, .tv, .vg, and .ws — you can review the epp code exemptions here if needed.
Unlock your domain
Before you can transfer a domain, you'll need to unlock it.
Getting your auth key from Register.com¶
- Log in to the Register.com My Domain Panel
- Within the Account Management section, select a domain name to view its details.
- The Auth Code should be listed on the domain details page.
