Publishing your website with Dreamweaver

Publishing your website using Dreamweaver to Fused hosting is simple & straight-forward.

Note

This article presumes you've already built your site in Dreamweaver & have a fused hosting account. For the latter, you can sign up at https://fused.com if you haven't already.

  1. Start Dreamweaver.
  2. Select Site from the menu & go to Manage Sites...
  3. Select your active project.
  4. Under the Site Setup menu, select Servers
  5. Hit the + menu for a new server.

From here, you'll see several options, we'll change each of them incrementally:

  1. Enter fused hosting for server name
  2. Select SFTP from the Connect using dropdown
  3. Enter your domain name for the SFTP address. Ensure port 22 is entered into the port field.
  4. Leave authentication set to Username & Password: For username & password, you're going to use your welcome email credentials. If you're not sure what those are, email support@fused.com & ask us for a reset.
  5. For Root Directory, you'll generally enter public_html — if you're uncertain, contact fused
  6. For Web URL, enter the final address of your site, e.g. https://www.example.com
  7. Hit Save, and Save.

Lastly:

  1. under the left-hand Files menu, you'll see a synchronize button:
  2. Select it, and select Entire site to synchronize. Leave Direction alone.
  3. Select Preview..., then OK.

It'll now start synchronizing: Once completed, you can view your site by navigating to your url. :yay:
